“I believe in allowing food to fulfill many needs in our lives and finding a sustainable balance for each individual. My main focus is to explore every pillar of wellness to help guide the journey of meeting your goals.”
“Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the service provided by my dietitian. Her expertise and personalized approach have made a positive impact on my health journey. I would encourage continued emphasis on the personalized aspect of the service. Amelia ended up being more of a food therapist and cheerleader, it was a unique approach that truly sets her apart.”
“I cannot say enough good things about her. She is so patient and thoughtful. I have developed such a positive relationship with food, and such a deep understanding of my body that I know I wouldn’t have been able to get on my own. She’s helped me learn so much about food and how my body works, which has decreased the levels of shame I felt around eating because of how much more informed I have become. I am just so grateful for all of the time she took to listen to me. I can tell how carefully she chooses her words when talking to clients, as to not trigger them. She uses the same language we use and asks thought provoking questions to lead clients on the right path. I simply cannot say enough of how awesome she is.”
I enjoy cooking, specifically perfecting family recipes, but also enjoying all the wonderful food in Chicago. I’m an avid reader and currently obsessing over anything sci-fi or historical fiction. Most days out of the week I am enjoying some form of movement, whether it be yoga, pilates, weightlifting or learning how to play tennis. I love finding the time for travel, both domestic and international and always looking forward to planning my next trip!
